What We Do

As a guide, we have listed the different processes we use in order of aggression first:

● Conventional dry blast cleaning
● Soda blasting
● Jos-Torc cleaning
● DOFF cleaning
● Poultice cleaning
Find out more about three of these cleaning systems below:

DOFF Cleaning

DOFF safely cleans surfaces at 150 degrees Celsius but we can vary the temperature and pressure to remove different types of paint, dirt or biological matter.

Steam is the cleaning agent so the DOFF system works from a normal water supply.

Jos-Torc Cleaning

This is a completely safe stone blasting cleaning system for a wide range of stone surfaces.

The Jos system was introduced to the UK more than 20 years ago and it can remove lime and cement based paints, paint residues, old oil based paints and limescale without eroding or cracking the structural damage of a building or object.

Jos-Torc uses a mixture of air, a fine inert powder and very little water to gently remove paints, dirt, graffiti, fungi and other materials without damaging the substrate.

This method of cleaning is suitable for cleaning oxidation from bronze, brass, copper or aluminium. This system creates a gentle swirling vortex with low air pressure, little water and a safe inert fine granulate.

Poultice Cleaning

This is a paste that is applied to a surface for at least 24 hours and when the paste is removed, the coatings come off with the paste.

The residue is then washed down. Many different poultices are available.
